Telling the stories

behind the developments in health equity, public health and health promotion

Our focus

EuroHealthNet Magazine shares the innovative stories from the European public health sector. We highlight the most interesting projects and developments in the field of health equity, public health, and health promotion, demonstrating how challenges are being approached in different settings. By sharing the stories and experiences of those at the frontline, we celebrate the best work in Europe today and stimulate modern and dynamic responses to new and existing challenges.

The causes of ill health and wellbeing mainly lie outside of the health sector. That is why our Magazine gives particular attention to initiatives which reach across sectors to improve wellbeing and reduce health inequalities.

We are always on the lookout for stories. If you have an interesting developments or perspective to share, we want to hear from you. As EuroHealthNet is a European partnership, supported by funding from the European Union, we generally do not accept articles covering stories outside the continent of Europe.

Checks to ensure high quality

We want to ensure your story has the impact it deserves. Each article we receive will go through an editorial check including grammar and structure.

After the editorial process, authors can review online articles before publication. We understand and respect the sensitivity of the issues we cover. As such, no article will be published without the full consent of the authors. On occasion, a media release form may be required to be completed.

Fact checks - verifying all sources and citations

Our editorial team ensures that all references cited within articles are thoroughly checked, up to date and from a reliable source. We check their reliability via journals, medical organisations, and governmental bodies to ensure that our content can be trusted.

We rely on diverse voices

We strive to highlight the most exciting projects and developments in health equity, public health, and health promotion from within and outside of our partnership. To achieve this, our goal is to be inclusive and ensure all voices are heard regardless of gender identity, ethnicity, sexuality, religion, culture, or ability. We strive to do this as best as we can. We are always learning. Read our Workplace Gender, Equality and Diversity Policy.
